Tips to Run S-D-D and Path-finder software:
For JLR S-D-D
There are 2 offline patches on the desktop.
First run JLR S-D-D offline patch (file name without date), run S-D-D, then close
Later run JLR S-D-D offline patch (file name with date)
For Path-finder,

New JLR App icon on desktop directly
